I am not a huge fan of the tie-dying effect, but Ms. Reynolds pursuit of natural dyes and one-of-a-kind pieces are refreshing. With the creation of subtle highs and lows in color, creating texture and pattern her creations are hard to reproduce. This results in a three-fold advantage. One, it is insurance to the owner that this designer garment is unique. Two, there is a more accountable reason for the pricing (all of her dyes are from natural and recycled methods), and three, the garment is hard for mass-market companies to re-produce. This is and will continue to be a trend for the high-end market. Fashionistas always want to have something current that no one else can get.
